Located in Vega Lake State Park — follow signs to Vega Lake.

1. Follow I-70 East from Grand Junction
2. Turn right onto Highway 65/CO-65 S via Exit 49 toward CO-330 E/Grand Mesa/Collbran(the exit you would take to go to Powderhorn)
3. After 10.2 miles, turn left onto Highway 330/CO-330 towards Collbran(do NOT continue going straight as if you were going to Powderhorn). Follow CO-330 towards Collbran(11.5 miles).
4. In Collbran, turn left on Main Street.
5. At the end of Main Street turn right on CO-330 heading up the hill towards Vega Lake.
6. After a few miles, turn right at the sign to Vega(do NOT continue going straight, it will take you through to Silt). This is a windy mountain road, and your last pass to the lake.
7. At the end of this road, you will pass a ranger’s station. Immediately after the Ranger’s station you will reach the lake. Continue going straight to go around the Lake (do NOT turn right over the dam.) You do not need a park pass to stay at the cabin.
8. Approximately 2/3rds of the way around the lake (after passing the Vega Lodge and 2 separate camping locations) you will reach a dirt road named Parkview Drive. Turn right on Parkview Drive and follow up around the corner.
9. Just after you turn the corner, you will see the property—a very large log home off on your right hand side. The address is on a post right as you turn into the cabin.

You are welcome to join us anytime after 3PM on August 27th. The main fun will start on the 28th and continue into the morning of the 29th. Those wishing to may stay with us until the morning of the 30th when we’re required to leave by 11AM. We have sleeping for 17 which could cut things a little tight if anyone brings their children but we will bring an air mattress or two just in case.

Thinks you should bring:
Clothes, swimsuits(may not be needed), fishing gear(if you fish), food(only if you have special dietary needs), The Rock(not Dwayne) if you happen to know where that is.
